Our Pick-a-Box game brings excitement and anticipation to the club. With every pick, there’s a chance of uncovering great prizes while sharing laughs and camaraderie with friends. Simple, fun, and always entertaining – it’s a club favourite!.
The rules of our Pick-a-box are quite simple:
- Every Friday between 12 Midday and 6:45PM for every drink you purchase you shall receive a ticket in the Pick-a-box draw.
- At 6:45 the draw shall be made and the holder of the winning ticket can select one of the remaining boxes (or any box if the first draw of a new competition).
- Inside the box will be either the Jackpot ticket or a consolation prize ticket.
- The Jackpot prize will start at $200 and jackpot by $50 each week until won.
- The consolation prize will be a choice of a bottle of wine or 6 pack of beer.
- Once a box has been drawn it is removed from the competition until a new competition starts.
To win the Second Chance draw all you need to do each week is write your name on the back of your losing Pick-a-Box ticket and put in the bucket provided. The Second Chance draw will take place on the last Friday of each month, straight after the main Pick-a-box draw.

These Terms and Conditions apply to the ‘Pick a Box’ promotional activity conducted by
Warnbro Bowling Club in accordance with the Liquor Control Act 1988 (WA) and associated
regulations.
1. Promoter
The promoter is Warnbro Bowling Club, a licensed premises operating under Western
Australian liquor licensing laws.
2. Promotion Details
a) The promotion is known as 'Pick a Box' and is similar in format to a 'Chase the Ace' style
draw.
b) The promotion is conducted every Friday.
c) Ticket entry commences from 12:00 noon on the day of the draw.
d) The draw takes place at 6:45pm at Warnbro Bowling Club.
3. Eligibility
a) Entry is open to patrons aged 18 years and over.
b) Members of the team on shift at the time of the draw and the person selecting the winning
ticket are not eligible to enter.
c) Entry is subject to all applicable Western Australian liquor laws and responsible service of
alcohol practices.
4. Entry Method
a) Each drink purchased receives 1 ticket, bottle of wine receives 5 tickets
b) Participants must clearly write their name and selected box number on the back of each
ticket.
c) Not applicable to purchases on Bar Tabs
5. Jackpot
a) The jackpot commences at $200.
b) If the jackpot is not won, it will increase by $50 each week.
c) If the promotion reaches the last remaining box, the winning ticket will be an instant winner
of the jackpot.
6. Draw Procedure
a) One ticket will be randomly drawn at 6:45pm.
b) The name on the ticket will be announced.
c) The participant whose ticket is drawn is not required to be present at the venue.
d) If the ticket holder cannot be identified or located within 10 minutes of the draw, a redraw
will take place.
7. Prizes
a) If the selected box contains the jackpot prize, the participant wins the jackpot.
b) If the jackpot is not won, the participant whose ticket is drawn will receive a consolation prize
of either one (1) bottle of wine or one (1) six-pack of beer.
c) Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
8. Second Chance Draw
All tickets entered during the month will be retained and entered into a second chance draw
conducted at the end of the month. Details of the second chance prize will be determined by the
Club.
9. General Conditions
a) The Club reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant who
breaches these Terms and Conditions.
b) The promotion will be conducted in accordance with responsible service of alcohol principles.
c) The Club reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion if required by law or
circumstances beyond its control.
d) Participation in the promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
10. Compliance
This promotion is conducted in accordance with the Liquor Control Act 1988 (WA) and
guidelines issued by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
